With racing and sportive season now on the horizon, Struggle Events are pleased to be working with Prologue and Moonglu to put on a series of Reliability Rides with all proceeds going to the Dave Rayner Fund.
A Reliability Ride is a traditional test of a cyclist’s reliability and that of their bike ahead of the racing and sportive season. The emphasis is on fitness, self-reliance and navigational skills - although nowadays GPX files are available.
2021 Yorkshire Reliability Ride Spring Series
Ride 1: Sunday 25 April, Struggle Events, Harrogate Grammar School, Route.
Ride 2: Sunday 2nd May, Moonglu, Ripon, Route.
Ride 3: Sunday 9th May, Prologue, Harrogate, Route,
Covid Protocol on the Struggle Reliability Ride
- Limited to 100 riders only. Enter online now.
- No sign-up on the day.
- Please bring your entry email confirmation on your phone.
- Groups of 15 riders leaving 1 minute apart.
- Please adhere to social distancing measures at the start
Important info
The event is not a race. It is run on public open roads without marshals or signposts and riders must abide by the Highway Code. Riders are responsible for their own safety and must ride in a manner that is safe for themselves, other riders and road users.
Under 16/18: Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All under 18s must provide a consent form completed by their parent or guardian. Download the consent form here.
