Begbies Traynor Boots or Bikes & Beer - Invitation Only
With an office of outdoor enthusiasts Begbies Traynor are excited to invite you for a day of business networking outside the boardroom. Join us to experience the best of the Yorkshire Dales by bike or by boot - with a well-deserved beer or two at the end.
DATE: Thursday 27th June 2019
TIME: Registration & networking from 12pm
LOCATION: Devonshire Arms, Bolton Abbey, Skipton, BD23 6AJ. Find Us >>
CHARITY: All the profits from your entry fee will be donated to Cardiac Risk in the Young
MORE INFO: All riders who RSVP will receive a detailed Road Book before the event.
Our base for the day will be the exclusive Devonshire Arms on the Bolton Abbey Estate. Devonshire Arms offers access to some of the best cycling roads in the Yorkshire Dales. We’ll meet for networking over tea and coffee, during which you’ll meet your fellow riders/walkers, the Begbies Traynor members and the Struggle Events team.
For those who will be riding, we'll enjoy a 50 mile ride into the Yorkshire Dales, taking in some stunning scenery. The route will be rolling, but we'll challenge ourselves on the infamous climb up to Malham Cove, where we'll be rewarded with the breathtaking views at the top.
For those who will be walking, we'll enjoy a 7 mile walk across the beautiful Bolton Abbey Estate. The Bolton Abbey to Hare Head walk passes by The Strid, where we'll stop for a drink. We'll then join the river and meanders back to the Devonshire Arms.
Our expert local guides will direct us around Yorkshire's stunning scenery so we can relax and enjoy the ride/walk. Ride groups will be based on ability, with our ride leaders controlling the pace. We'll regroup at the top of hills and no one will be left behind.
A well-deserved dinner of Beef and Ale Pie and chips and a pint - or two - will be awaiting us back at the Devonshire Arms (veggie option available). We can relax, continue to network and the walker and riders can share stories of their day.

About our Charity
Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Since its formation in 1995, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by YSCD.
