The Spa town of Harrogate is one of the most visited towns in the North of England among tourists due to the shopping, dinning, heritage and location as a gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
Harrogate came to prominence in the cycling world when it hosted the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart. The town got 100% behind the Tour de France with a dedicated Fan Park near the finish line.
The 2019 UCI Road World Championships in Yorkshire is set to be just as exciting - and over nine days. Harrogate is the ideal location for cyclists looking to explore Yorkshire by bike and take on the worlds route during their stay.
