UKREiiF is a construction conference held every year in Leeds. Outside the conference is a host of fringe events put on by attending businesses. Businesses from the property sector joined forced to launch a charity sportive alongside the conference.
CLUB TOGETHER
Our client Richard Osbond of Hexa felt it would be a great opportunity to gather people from the corporate construction world from across the country to ride bikes together and raise much-needed funds for Yorkshire Children’s Charity.
Richard drummed up interest from ten other businesses attending the conference to sponsor the event and harness their databases, culminating in a huge guest list and a fantastic sportive.
INCLUSIVE CHALLENGE
As a fundraising event, the routes had to include a challenge. However, to encourage inclusivity there were three different route distances, all taking riders over notorious Yorkshire climbs.
BANGING BURGERS
After the event our recommended street food vendor provided gourmet burgers and chips and the bar was open for the rest of the afternoon.
