STRUGGLE LAUNCHES SECOND GRAVEL EVENT
Alongside Borderlands Gravel, we thought it was about time we brought you another awesome Struggle event away from the asphalt. Join us for Struggle Moors Gravel; an epic new event on Yorkshire’s finest grit! Here’s what you need to know:
WHEN?
Struggle Moors Gravel will take place on 15th June 2025. Unlike Borderlands Gravel, which hosts a road event on Saturday and gravel on Sunday, Struggle Moors Gravel will be on the same day as Struggle Moors road event.
We're afraid you'll have to pick your weapon and choose between the smooth tarmac or the rough stuff of the North York Moors. Whatever you pick, we can guarantee you epic views, mega climbs and a fun-friendly atmosphere.
WHERE?
Sutton Bank is the gateway to the best road and gravel in the North York Moors. It's also easily accessible from the A1 and A19 just north of Thirsk. Join us at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre where there is free ample parking, an on-site bike shop and cafe, plus you're straight onto the Cleveland Way via gravel bike or up onto Bransdale Moors via road bike.
There's plenty of places to stay in and around the local villages including Helmsley which is a lovely cosmopolitan market town. Places will book up so don't delay in booking accommodation in the area and entering Struggle Moors or Struggle Moors Gravel.
WHAT'S THE ROUTE?
We have two awesome routes to choose from. The 100km route will take you on a round tour of the North York Moors over the best shooting tracks, bridleways and disused railway lines.
The 50km route is an ideal option for riders new to gravel as it takes in some of the best bits of the 100km route. Whichever Struggle Moors Gravel route you choose, be certain it will be a Struggle.
WHEN TO SIGN UP?
Entries go live for Struggle Moors and Struggle Moors Gravel on 1st January 2025. Add the date to your calendar and we'll see you on the start line on 15th June 2025.
