About Network Bike
While in the corporate world, Managing Director of Struggle Events Matt Mannakee spent more time sat in stuffy networking events than he did sat on his saddle. But Matt firmly believed he had forged more valuable business relationships while out on his bike than in a conference room. Having left the corporate world behind, Matt has since brought Network Bike to life to help facilitate more people to expand their business or brand through cycling.
Join us for coffee, bacon sandwiches and networking from 8:30am at Bowcliffe Hall. We'll then head out in groups for a fun, flat ride, where you can continue networking while in the saddle. Following the ride, all groups will meet back at Bowcliffe Hall for coffee, cake and the chance to exchange business cards, discuss corporate opportunities or arrange a meet-up.
This flat, 50 mile route is perfectly designed to encourage networking in the saddle. We'll roll out from Bowcliffe Hall straight into the quiet, meandering lanes of York, where riders can relax and network around the group. We'll head back via Wetherby before jumping onto the fast run-in back to Bowcliffe Hall.
Network Bike is a business networking event for road cyclists of all abilities. We'll ride in different groups based on average speed. Although fully signposted, the groups will be accompanied by experienced ride leaders who can control the pace and direct the road, enabling riders to focus on networking.
Situated just off the A1M, four miles south of Wetherby and close to both York and Leeds, Bowcliffe Hall is an ideal for base for business meetings and events. On Network Bike we'll make the most of the stunning grounds by looking out from the exclusive Potting Shed corporate event space.
