OUR MISSION
The Arla Move Stronger Health & Well-being event is back for 2026! New for this year, we have different riding and walking and running routes for all abilities. There will also be our mindfulness activities, and new for 2026 is the opportunity for a Padel lesson and game or tournament.
We are also proud to extend the event to all Arla colleagues across all our sites, with Wetherby Rugby Club featuring as the northern hub for our national health & well-being event.
There’s no cost to you, but please support and donate to our chosen charity of Mind.

MINDFULNESS SESSION
Sound Bath - Session One
A sound bath is a meditative experience where you relax while listening to soothing sounds and vibrations from instruments like gongs, singing bowls, or chimes, designed to calm the mind and body. It can help reduce stress, promote deep relaxation, and support overall mental clarity and emotional well-being. During a session, you may feel a sense of calm, mental stillness, or even gentle physical sensations from the vibrations, leaving you refreshed and grounded. Led by Arla's own Milginta Mikalkenaite, a Sound Therapy Practioner.
Mindful Crafting - Session Two
Mindful crafting is a gentle, creative session where you can unwind while engaging in simple activities like painting, colouring, origami, & other crafts, accompanied by soothing music and herbal teas. It offers a chance to slow down, focus on the present moment, and express creativity without pressure or expectation. Participants can expect to leave feeling calmer, more relaxed, and refreshed, with benefits including reduced stress, improved focus, and an overall sense of wellbeing. This activity can be paired with any of the other ‘short’ activities available.

GUIDES
We'll ride/walk/run in different ability groups, accompanied by an expert guide from Struggle Events, who will support us along the way to direct the route and provide advice and support throughout.

SUPPORT
We'll be supported by the passionate team at Struggle Events who are experts in supporting cycling events for all abilities.
The Struggle support car will be roving throughout, should you need any assistance while out on your bike. Their expert mechanic will also be roving on the route but will also be at the start to provide pre-ride bike checks.

Lace Up For Pride
The PROUD Team, in collaboration with the Feel Stronger Team, are excited to bring you a fun way to brighten up your walk while supporting a fantastic cause! Stop by to pick up a pair of rainbow laces in exchange for a small donation, with all proceeds going to MindOut—an inspiring LGBTQ+ mental health charity that provides advice, support, and wellbeing services for the community. It’s a simple way to show your colour, spread positivity, and make a meaningful difference!
